North Texas Launch Point

Building the first U.S. engineering cell in Dallas–Fort Worth.

SMART PowerX is establishing an engineering, prototype, and demonstration presence in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. The center is intended to connect product development, additive manufacturing, assembly, test capability, universities, suppliers, customers, and future productive cells.

Project Selection

Every project should leave the ecosystem stronger.

A SMART PowerX project is selected for both its immediate result and the capability it adds: reusable knowledge, validated designs, manufacturing routes, supplier relationships, trained people, customer access, intellectual property, or a new productive cell.

Partner programs require a defined product need, responsible information boundaries, clear ownership, and a credible path to physical validation.
